The Arab Robotics Association (ARA)

An Arab scientific body that deals with robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), established during the founding meeting held in Jordan on 29 September 2011. ARA includes a group of interested specialists in the field of science and robotics which is across the Arab world, focusing on generating interest in robotics and the provision of services related to this scientific field. It also organizes conferences and related events. ARA is administered by an elected administrative body of members, distributed between 14 Arab countries.

GOALS

Disseminating a culture and technology of Robotics in Arab societies
Encouraging Arab countries to establish robotics clubs and associations
Organizing competitions, activities, and events in the field of robotics
Supporting scientific relations between the members of the ARA and promoting the exchange of scientific studies and researches.

Liaising between Arab and international associations for cooperation and exchange of experiences and visits.
Organizing studies and training courses and holding scientific conferences and meetings.
Encouraging the establishment of laboratories and the inclusion of Robotics Science within the curriculum.
Providing scientific consultation in the field of robotics.

International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET)

International organization to invest leisure activities in science and technology; MILSET was established in 1987 during the first International Science Fair held in Québec. MILSET aims at developing scientific culture among young people through the organization of science-and-technology programs.

The history of the promotion of scientific activities on the sidelines of the academic framework dates back to several centuries ago in many countries of the world. The benefits of these activities to make long-term scientific changes in our societies have led to the promotion of international exchanges in various fields.

MILSET was founded in 1987 based in Paris in order to encourage the correct practice of scientific and technological activities by young people during leisure time, as well as scientific and cultural contribution taking into account the traditions and customs of all peoples.
