The Emirates Science Club team won the first place globally in the World Junior Robot Competition, which was held from August 12 to 16 in Chongqing, China, and competed for the competition awards 113 teams representing 30 countries, in three different robot competitions: WRO and VE
The Emirates Science Club team won first place globally in the World Junior Robot Competition, which took place from 12-16 August in Chongqing, China.
113 teams from 30 countries competed in three different robot competitions: WRO, VEX IQ and MakeX.
The team of Emirates Scientific Club, affiliated to the Culture and Science Symposium in Dubai, was represented by Sultan Al Zarouni (11 years) and Yazia Mohammed Al Mansouri (12 years) and Mahra Maher Sharafian (13 years), led by trainer Amira Mehdi to compete in the category of VEX IQ. The first with the Chinese team total of 40 points, four points behind second place.
The UAE team also received the special award in the best robot industry.
